Quick Print Multiple Files

Another Help Desk Question: “How do you print several files without having to open, print, and then close each one?”

To accomplish this task, you must be in Windows Explorer or My Computer:

  • Click on the folder that contains the files you want to print
  • In the right hand side of your screen, select the files that you want to print

If the files are contiguous:
- Select the first file
- Hold down the shift key
- Select the last file
All the files between the first and last will be selected

If the files are not contiguous:
- Select the first file
- Hold down the <Ctrl> key
- Select another file
- Hold down the <Ctrl> key
Continue this procedure until you have selected all the files

  • From the File menu, choose Print
  • All the files will open, print and then close
